Save The Ski Train - update from France

A message from the Alps

I travelled out to the Alps recently, to give a presentation at a conference of ski resorts, lift companies, mayors etc.  My subject was how to help more skiers travel to the Alps by train.

When I was invited to give a presentation, I thought it was just a Zoom thing that I'd do from my kitchen in London.  But it was a real event.  Socially distanced, of course.  Great to meet people in person.

Eurostar's cancellation of the Ski Train was a massive topic.  And staying in the Alps for days afterwards to talk to more ski resorts and meet with chalet companies, I was struck by how devastating this news is.  Ski resorts and the ski industry in the French Alps really does love welcoming people by train.  They know that it makes sense on so many levels.

We are doing everything we can to get Eurostar to reconsider.  Above is a little video update I posted on YouTube yesterday.

I'll be back in touch with more news soon.
