Funicular transfers - Sierre - Crans-Montana

A funicular train runs between Sierre train station and Montana, making the climb in 15 minutes. It's a smooth and very scenic journey, with good views out of the massive glass windows as you ride.
The funicular costs :
single ticket : CHF 14/adult – CHF 7/children (from 6 to 13 years old)

 

The entrance to the funicular is about 150 metres from Sierre train station.  Anyone can show you the way, but there is also a red painted line on the ground to guide you.

The funicular runs every 15 minutes, and the first funicular departs at 7:30 AM and the last one departs at 9:00 PM

Sierre station has a waiting room and an excellent place where they make sandwiches where they add whatever fillings you want, using huge baguettes.

There's a restaurant opposite the station too.
