Buses depart from a bay adjacent to Briancon station. The price for adults is 8€ and for children 4€.

You can buy bus tickets at a counter at the railway station or in advance online at www.altibus.com which shows timetable information too, although the site isn't always that easy to use.

You can also phone Altibus on +(33) 4 79 68 32 96 or email them on altibus@centrecontacts.com.  Booking for the winter season begin in November.

Briancon station information & restaurants

If you have time while waiting for the bus or train, Hotel de la Gare, opposite the station, does a very reasonable dinner - classic French dishes.

It also offers continental breakfast.

Buses depart from the car park next to Oulx station. The price for adults is 8€ and for children 4€.

Oulx station information & restaurants

If you have time while waiting for the bus or train, there is a cafe bar with the station, and one right opposite too.

Both serve freshly made Italian sandwiches, and the one opposite serves meals too.
