InterCityExpress trains are a real treat to travel in.

Standard Class feels like First Class on any other train.  There are loads of tables, big glass windows, loads of space.  It's just very, very pleasant.

On-board dining

The on-board restaurants on InterCityExpress trains are very pleasant, with freshley prepared hot and cold food and drinks, including wine and beers.

The prices are reasonable and the views out the window as as you eat make it a real pleasure.

Seating

You'll find plenty of table seats on InterCityExpress trains, and lots of leg room.

Even the toilets are spacious!

Perhaps one day even British trains will be built like this...
