Eurostar + City Night Line Details
Where to

Resorts in Austria including Zell am See / Kaprun.

How it works

From St Pancras International, take a Eurostar to Paris. Change to Paris-Est and take the City Night Line (CNL) overnight to Munich. By going overnight, you’ll get an extra day on the slopes when you arrive, and an extra day before you return to the UK.

The CNL has a superb, reasonably priced restaurant carriage on board (on the outward train only).

Most ski resorts have a train station in the village. Others have a station nearby, with convenient bus or taxi options (or pick-ups organised by tour operators).

When you can travel

Outward on Fri., Sat., Sun., Mon.

Return on Thurs., Fri., Sat., Sun.

What the trains are like

CNL trains have 6-berth couchettes, luxury 2-berth compartments with private showers, and also sitting compartments. More about the experience on board the City Night Line.

What it costs

Return fares on the CNL start at €46 return for limited availability offers. The Eurostar to Brussels return costs from £59 return. From Munich to Austrian resorts costs from €32 return. See how to book the lowest fares.

When you can book

City Night Line can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Eurostar trains can be booked 120 days in advance. If your trip is more than 120 days from now, we can send you an email reminder for your specific journey.
