Buses depart from a bay adjacent to St Gervais station - so you only need to walk out of the station to get the bus.

You can buy bus tickets at a counter at the train station, but it is recommended to buy them in advance online at www.altibus.com which shows timetable information too.

At the moment it doesn't look like the bus company will publish a timetable in English.

Station information & restaurants

St Gervais station has a waiting room, and just opposite the station is La Pause Brasserie. 

This is an unpretentious cafe which which does breakfast, hot meals and great filled baguettes. 

So if you've just arrived and want a bite to eat before heading up to the resort, it's a good place to wait. 

Or a good place to stock up for a picnic on the train home.
