Speed, comfort and service

I happened to be reading a consumer magazine after Christmas and saw a link to the Snowcarbon website. This was to solve all my problems and with its help i was able to plan a perfect trip. I gathered information that I can't think I would have come across any other way. I didn't want to go for a full week so that ruled out many of the organised tours and all the flights from our local aiports were only on Saturdays too.

Going out, I caught an off peak main line train from Leeds to Kings Cross  and then the Eurostar to Paris and crossed Paris using the underground. I was travelling alone and it was around 9pm but I felt completely safe.  I then caught the overnight train to Bourg st Maurice, I must admit to being apprehensive as to who else would be in my couchette - but I was really fortunate and just shared with one other single French lady and we slept incredibly well. The train got in exactly on time and thanks again to your site I had pre-booked the bus to Tignes and it was there waiting!

The return journey was a delight. I got the Saturday ski train direct to St Pancras from Bourg st Maurice and was amazed at the speed, comfort and service.  I would look forward to travelling this way again and have spread the word among all my friends. I set off on a bit of adventure but full of confidence because everything was pre-booked and timed.

The alternative would have been to drive 1hr to the airport, pay to park the car, 2hr check in, limited luggage and an expensive 3hr transfer at the other end – so I was more than happy with my choice.
