Le Telemark

4-star Le Telemark in Tignes is situated at the entrance of the resort in Le Lac area on the Bleuet ski slope and offers doorstep skiing. Access to the residence from the slopes requires a short walk uphill although there is a short cut. The reception staff can advise on the exact route to take to ski back to the residence. The Chaudannes chairlift is closeby and operates from 9am onwards, this is something to keep in mind if you are thinking of taking ski school lessons in the morning. There is a free shuttle bus to the resort centre that operates approximately every 30-45 minutes, but if the times do not match your lesson time you will need to allow for the 10 minute walk to the centre and your meeting point. Built by the acclaimed mountain architects MGM, Le Télémark is composed of 1 chalet-style building and offers 52 luxurious self-catering ski apartments. Le Télémark boasts ‘Le Centre Ô des Cimes Spa d’Altitude’ offering free access to the private indoor heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and fitness room. Numerous facial or body treatments and massages are also available (payable, pre-bookable through Ski Collection). Bathrobes can be hired. Facilities at Le Télémark include a lounge area with open fire, free Wi-Fi internet access in the main reception area and all apartments (1 free connection, additional connections payable), luggage room, lifts, laundry room (payable), ski lockers with boot-dryers and underground parking (payable, max height 1.90m). A bakery delivery service can be arranged for delivery of fresh bread and pastries to reception from 08.00 each morning (payable, pre-order before 18.00 the day before). The loan of cots, highchairs, bottle warmers, socket guards (1 cot & 1 highchair max per apartment, request at time of booking), board games, electrical adapters and raclette/fondue/pierrade sets is also possible (all subject to availability).
